Choosing The Best Location For Your Branding Session
Hey! I spent some time putting together some of the best places and locations for your branding session. I hope this helps you with your search!
Choosing your location early is important as we need time to schedule and be sure you can book the location you love. It’s also important to keep the vibe of your session in mind when choosing your location.
One of my absolute favorite places to shoot is a showhome. I have access to Kimberley Show Homes, Sarasota and Pacesetter Showhomes here in Edmonton / St. Albert and they are a great place to shoot if your home or office doesn’t fit the aesthetic of your brand. (bonus you don’t have to clean like crazy before your shoot)
You can browse the showhomes here (the ones I have access to) and let me know your top 2-3 picks and I will try to get your top choice booked! BONUS these showhomes typically don’t charge for the use of their spaces!

The Edmonton area has come absolutely beautiful studio locations: (These come with additional rental fees)

There are more studios that I have not had a chance to shoot in yet but know of if you want to keep searching but these two studios seem to be the most popular.
There are also a few retail shops that allow us to use their space for a branding shoot. Botaniful is one of those locations and it’s full of beautiful plants. They typically charge $50 to use their space. Here are some examples of shots at their location.

During our short summer and fall months here in YEG I like to get outside and shoot! Some locations I love shooting outdoors in Edmonton are Manchester Square, The Legislature Building, Some amazing graffiti walls throughout the city, Downtown. Here are a few examples:
